24-Hour Rotaty Clock Belt
This model features a black dial and a blue and black ceramic Cerachrom bezel insert. In addition to the usual hour, minute and second hands, the GMT-Master II features an arrow-tipped hand that completes the entire rotation of the dial every 24 hours, as well as a bidirectional rotating 24-hour graduated bezel.
The distinctively colored 24-hour hand displays the “home” reference time in the first time zone, legible on the bezel graduations. The traveler’s local time is easily set by “jumping” in hourly increments, thanks to an ingenious mechanism operated via the crown: the hour hand can be adjusted forwards or backwards independently of the minute and second hands. This allows the traveler to adapt to their new time zone without affecting the accuracy of the watch.
Black Watch Dial
Like all Rolex Professional watches, thanks to its Chromalight display, the GMT-Master II has exceptional legibility in any situation, especially in dark environments.
The broad hands and simple hour markers – triangles, circles, and narrow letters – are coated with a luminescent material that emits a lasting glow.
The Jubilee Trap
This version of the GMT-Master II is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet. The Jubilee bracelet’s comfortable, flexible five-piece link was designed specifically for the Oyster Perpetual Datejust, launched in 1945.
The Jubilee bracelet of this model is equipped with a Rolex-designed and patented Oysterlock safety folding clasp to prevent accidental opening. The watch also incorporates the convenient Easylink extension link, developed by Rolex, which allows the bracelet to be extended by approximately 5 mm. The hidden attachment mechanism ensures seamless visual continuity between the bracelet and the case.
